This tool will change your data to a form that GPT is comfortable manipulating, a smaller file of comma seperated values instead of a very large text file. Primarily this is accomplished through only taking data which have published research. This takes your file from about 620,000 datapoints to 47,000 data points. 1. Access Your Genetic Data:
You can easily access your raw genetic data from your 23andMe account by:
Navigating directly to you.23andme.com/tools/data/- 23andMe has temporarily disabled its 'raw data download' please use AncestryDNA instead.
You can easily access your raw genetic data from your Ancestry account by:
- Sign in to Ancestry here https://www.ancestry.com/account/signin
- Go to 'DNA Settings'
- Scroll down to the Download or Delete section and select Download DNA data.
- Verify your account and download your data.

2. Download and Uncompress Your Raw Data:
From within the Browse Raw Data feature, click on the Download tab located in the top navigation bar and scroll down until you see the "Submit request" button. You will receive an email to the address associated with your 23andMe account when your raw data download file is ready, typically within a few minutes. Remember to uncompress this data before uploading to our web app.
3. Upload Your Data to Our App:
Navigate back to our web app and check the box to acknowledge that you have read and agreed to our privacy policy. This step is crucial, as we value your privacy and data protection. We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Our privacy policy describes how we use your data and the steps we take to safeguard it. We encourage you to take a moment to read through it before uploading your genetic data to ensure you are comfortable with our practices. Once done, click on "Let's gooooo!" to upload your file. Keep in mind that we only analyze a small fraction of your genetic data and do not record your identity. Your data is used solely for providing you with our service, maintaining your anonymity at all times.
